Flashback Episode w/ David Kunstatter - June 28, 2013
One of our most frequent guests over the years has been our pal David Kunstatter. We first encountered David when he became the CJLO Production Director and a friendship both inside and outside the station quickly blossomed.
Whether manning the boards for us on a number of live sessions for the show, countless nights spent watching him flex his many musical talents on stage (as frontman of Glass Passenger, sax player for Red Mass, or drumming for Vicious/Delicious, to name just a few), hanging out in numerous recording studios as he created the Glass Passenger album, Uppers and Downers, or sharing a pint or two around the city … with a few wild nights in New York City thrown in for good measure … David has always been one of our favourite people the show has brought us in contact with. This episode is a pleasant jaunt down memory lane.
Have a listen while David joins Prince Palu in the CJLO studio on a rainy June 28, 2013 to talk about the latest Drug Train release, his role in Red Mass and the permanent hiatus of Glass Passenger. He was also kind enough to treat us with a curated DJ set that gave many new flavours to that week’s dose of Radio Magic.
