Winter in Montreal can be many different things at many different times too many different people, but the one thing that it always is to all people at all times is long. Sure it might be starting later now than it did in the 1980s, but it still pretty much rolls right through Spring into Summer. Regardless of what “nice” days we get sprinkled in throughout February and March, we all know that Winter in Montreal ain’t over until roughly the third week of May, when all of a sudden it is 23° C and every terrace in the city is full and for the next four and a half months Summer is in full swing. With this in mind, Prince Palu delivers a carefully curated two hours of #RadioMagic to help ease the dreary Winter blues that often set in around this time every year. Starting with a set of soul music before veering into some cosmic Americana, the first hour will warm your soul, just in time for the psychedelia, power pop and indie rock to bring it all to fulfilling finale. So fix yourself a drink, put your feet up and come along for the ride. As a wise 3-year-old girl once said, “Tune in, turn on, FREAKOUT!”
