As the great storm of December 2022 descended upon the city of Montreal, turning the streets of Notre-Dame-de-Grace into sheets of ice and the air into a swirling snow globe, our hero, Prince Palu, braved the elements as he pledged that neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays this college radio DJ from the swift completion of delivering a weekly dose of #RadioMagic.

The episode opens with a tribute to Thom Bell, one of the holy trinity of Philly Soul, who passed away Thursday. A one-two-three of The Delfonics, The Spinners and The Stylistics show just how great this music man was and the impact he had on popular music. After this came an onslaught of funky goodness, followed by some experimental electronica and psychedelic grooves that were sure to warm up any listening seeking refuge from the blistery winter storm. The show ends with a pull on the heartstrings and a heaping dose of twang.
