With Oncle Ian out of commission for the evening, Prince Palu took control of the mothership and punched it into hyperdrive!

With an opening set tribute to the legendary guitarist Jeff Beck, he moved on to a lengthy rock ‘n’ roll set that bended psychedelic and boogie rock. Sprinkling in some of the bands that will be gracing various Montreal stages next month during Mothland's Taverne Tour 2023 (Drogue, La sécurité, Piss For Pumpkin, and Solipsisme), with a bunch of other sweet musical nuggets, old and new, like Sam Jr., Thin Lizzy, Mon Doux Saigneur, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, and The Velvet Underground. Finally, closing the show with set of Americana and a preview of Exclaim!'s Montreal edition of Class of 2023 (which is happening next Friday at l'Escogriffe with The Wesleys, Steel Saddle, Bule and Mitch Davis).
