In the second hour, we celebrate the release of Pylon's new boxset... Pylon Box...available through New West Records. It was a real treat to be able to talk to Vanessa Hay and Michael Lachowski about Pylon's formation, musical influences, touring, and legacy. They discuss the early Athens Georgia music scene and how Pylon went from being an art project to a legendary underground institution, whose influence is still reverberating around the airwaves! We dig into selections from the boxset including some freshly re-mastered tracks from their albums Gyrate and Chomp as well as exclusive live recordings and selections from the Razz Tape, an early live session unearthed for this release!
